Chartered Accountant Course Eligibility
- For CPT 10+2 qualification is needed.
- For IPCC candidate has to qualify in cpt
- Graduate or post graduates in commerce with 55 percentege of marks, other graduates and post graduates with 60 percentage of marks can also apply.
IPCC Course Eligibility
Students who are qualified in cpt, graduate or post graduates in commerce with 55 percentage of marks, other graduates or post graduates with 60 percentage of marks can apply. Candidate has to register nine months before the exam. After that student has to complete 100 hours of IT Training.
Chartered Accountant Course Structure
CPT Subjects and Qualifying Details:
The “CPT” has four papers. Exam will be in objective type and conducted 2 times in a year in June and December. The Four subjects and exam details of CPT details are there in the below table.
The cpt examination will be conducted for 200 marks in objective manner. To qualify in the cpt examination candidate have to secure at least 100 marks i.e 50 percentage of marks in the examination. For each wrong answer 0.25 negative marks will be there and 0 marks for un answered questions.

CA Final Subjects and Qualifying Details:
To qualify 40 percentage of marks in each subject are required and aggregate of 50 percentage of marks are required. After passing chartered accountancy Final exam enroll as a member of ICAI. Then the candidate is designated as “Chartered Accountant”.

Chartered Accountant Course Details after Graduation
Graduates or post graduated candidates in commerce with 55 percentage or other graduates and post graduates with 60 percentage of marks can also apply. Candidate has to register to the exam before 9 months. After that candidate has to complete 100 hrs of IT Training. Course materials will be provided by icai to the students.
Latest Chartered Accountant Course Duration Update:
The council of the ICAI has decided to reduce the CA course from five years 3 months to three and half years. ICAI has also decided to revamp the course structure.
